So, I've been having this debate with my bf (I love having 4k debates with Sam off 4k, I learn a lot more from having multiple independent perspectives), and he brought up Hobbes' Social Contract, which boils down to this: you get no rights if you do not contribute to society.
A fetus does not, in any way shape or form, contribute to society (I'm HUGELY interested in any dispute of this statement, because I think it's pretty factual). Therefore, a fetus has absolutely no rights, according to this social contract.
