Of course, he doesn't, so no one should be surprised that he didn't veto it -- nor that he in fact lobbied to have indefinite detention included in the first place.

I've seen a few Senators -- at least three, most Democrats -- come forward and say that Obama wanted the indefinite detention provisions to be included. And I think it's rather telling that he hasn't denied it...

Interesting how many other affronts to civil liberties and freedom that you choose to ignore in focusing so intently on arguing this one, though...
