I think it was an honest mistake and the girl should be given a warning and sent on her way...but I also understand that sometimes rules like that give so little leeway, especially with the vilified view of firearms a lot of people have. I don't really support making it okay to have guns (no matter how well secured) on school property, but I think there should be a little more wiggle room for honest mistakes.



But what really struck me was the comment about how this is Montana, not inner-city LA. I mean, I'm just saying, Columbine, CO, isn't exactly inner-city LA either...
