Those are the kinds of changes that would be good for you even if you werent' looking to lose weight. One thing I've found as far as snacking is that along with my fruits and veggies, I try to add something with a little protein and fat - nuts, cheese (you can get low fat cheese if you're worried abou the fat content) or hummus. It's more satisfying and keeps you full longer.
For the excercise, if the strength excercises aren't getting your heart rate up, you might want to add something that does. You can get home workout dvds with cardio routines that you can do in your living room in 30 minutes before work. I can't recommend any because mine are all dance related but I'm sure you can find some.
Try not to get discouraged and give up if you don't lose as much weight as you're hoping... even if the amount of weight you lose is small the changes you're making will make you healthier in the short and long term.
