Okay, the ultimate goal remains the same - I want to feel good as well as feel good about myself. These fixed numbers are to give me fixed, tangible goals that I can measure my progress towards.
Target weight: 165 lbs (Not too long ago I was 160, including a fair bit of muscle, so 165 without building up the same amount of muscle should be very attainable.)
Target waist: 34 inches (When I was 160 lbs, my waist was 32 inches; I'll be happy dropping back down to 34.)
Currently I'm in the neighborhood of 220 lbs and 40 inches; the "official" starting numbers will be determined tomorrow with the first Wednesday Weigh-in. I'm not going to set a target date for reaching these goals - as long as I'm making progress toward them, that's good enough for me.
I will probably also set targets for my workout (e.g. 20 push-ups), but those will come after I've started and get a feel for where I'm at. First workout tomorrow morning, right after my first weigh-in!
