Look at what i recently went through.
If I was unemployed I would have been able to get rental assistance quickly but due to the fact that i had a job it took over two weeks if my land lord was not such a nice guy I would have been on my ass by now.
When I went in there I was told i didn't make enough to get help i was in this odd income level where if I made less i would get help if I made more i would get help.
Luckly I had a second job to show her the income for but it upset me that a hard working American came in seeking help and I got told I was not making enough to get help but if I quit my job I would get help quicker.
