I think for the most it is true I got this cleaning job recently and the guy specifically said not to mention that we really need a job or that we need money so many were so stupid they did any way and were right away asked to leave.
As well they were dressed in street clothes one girl showed up looking like a cheep hooker. One guy smelled of pot. I'm a pot head but still i know better.
One guy even started a fight like an all out yelling match while we were there with some one else.
Sigh it is like these kids are raised with no morals and no ethics.
They just don't call out or call out when they are supposed to be there instead of like at least and hour early.
They show up to socialize instead of work.
My boss wound up firing so many people that we only have 4 left on our crew.
The youngest 20 is only with us as a favor to some one the boss knows.
I think the school failed me in learning how to be a good worker the school didn't teach me the skills I needed to be hire able let alone stay hired but luckily I had a good dad who taught me all these things.
So IMO I think it is not just the schools who have failed these kids, but the parents as well the kids themselves for not having the respect and understanding of common sence concepts that are very important in the work force.
