Why? This doesn't make any sense! Until you get to this part:
The further the government reaches into people's lives, the more dependent upon the government the people become. The more dependent upon the government, the further they'll let it reach into their lives. It's a vicious cycle that must be broken if there's any hope that we'll retain the freedom our nation was originally built on!

The federal government is deliberately reaching deeper into people's lives. Because everyone knows that Ma Fed always knows best -- even when she's letting grenades walk into Mexico!
