Posted by Kromey at 12:37pm Feb 1 '11that the voice commands can actually control the entirety of the Kinect Dashboard, something that in hindsight they made obvious but which took me a long time to notice, although they become unavailable the moment you actually select something. It seems like the underlying structure is there, then, and they just need to update the software to add more voice options.
I really can't wait until I can use the Kinect to control the regular Dashboard as well. Obviously it won't let me play games that aren't designed for it, but it'd be nice to access and control Netflix via the Kinect -- no more losing the "remote" (controller)!!
