This marks at least the 4th time in this country alone -- second for New York! -- that gun registration has been deliberately used to confiscate legally-purchased and -registered firearms; the number of incidents virtually identical to this go way up when we include other countries, such as Britain and Australia.
Just something to keep in mind before you respond with the tired old party line that gun registration doesn't lead to confiscation: History proves otherwise. Repeatedly.
