You can't please everyone, like stupid fucking homeowner's associations try to do! It's why I'd never live in a place that requires my grass to be X inches long or requires my door to be X shade of blue...it's just stupid and pointless. I'd rather live in a diverse neighborhood where I can express myself without worrying about stepping on the toes of the contract I signed in order to be allowed to move into my HIGHLY overpriced house.
