God is the ultimate moral authority by virtue of being all powerful. But He is hardly a tyrant who imposes His morality without [just cause]. He has given us free will and the chance to come to an understanding of His morality, with (even more) the purpose of becoming His equals. Does a tyrant explain his motivations, let alone share his power?
If the most powerful being that exists, that created our current universe, told you straight up that everything He does and expects you to do is motivated by what He discovered to be most pleasureable to Him and that He wants you to be similar (truly) to Him so that He can give you the same power so that He can have you as an equal partner that really wants Him... would you understand at all if you didn't have at least some experience in this existence?
God is ruled by pleasure as we are.
A master teaches an apprentice their ways, not the ways of another master...
I think, perhaps, that lucifer did not want to be a god but wanted to be God... Perhaps he knew of God as, I think, I'm becoming to see Him and thought he was better... Perhaps lucifer is more on the prudish side and thinks a God should be exactly [whatever exactly] he is... ... Or, perhaps, God and lucifer were very close -_^... and when lucifer found out God's plan to make humans equal partners for relationships he was jealous...
I think free will may just be an oath made by God not to treat us like automotons and control our being when He chooses. So, I think that angels, who don't have free will, could still be individuals but who, at God's choosing, can be automotons because God has made no such oath with them...
Why would I dream of Johnny Depp and interpret him as a representation of God? Perhaps because Johnny Depp is perceived as a most passionate individual... He's an actor (he can play many parts)... A sex symbol... Perhaps because he may be perceived as possessing some feminine qualities... Perhaps because he's perceived as eccentric and maybe a little mysterious...
My dream containing Johnny Depp: I was in a vehicle with some people and as we were driving we seemed to be approaching a man, who to me was appearing like Johnny Depp. Eventually we reached him and he seemed to bump into the passenger side where I was sitting (his expression and demeanor, I vaguely recall so I'm not totally sure, seemed similar to his Edward Scissorhands character or maybe some other like character of his...) We didn't let him in and I think I was a little scared. We kept driving and he trailed off behind us. I was excited and was like: "That was Johnny Depp." and went on to say how I thought I saw him earlier in the day or week, but no one seemed to care. I think I was saying it over and over a few times while it appeared as if Johnny had returned and was walking beside our vehicle, while it seemed like we were in a crowd of people. While I was repeating or trying to say what I wanted to say an individual, who wasn't there before and was now driving, turned to me and smiled. The smile wasn't exactly wicked but... given that he did resemble Johnny I got the impression from his smile and the context, that he wanted me to think or at least say he was Johnny or acknowledge his similarity to Johnny and to be quiet... There also seemed to be flashing cameras from the crowd of people as Johnny was walking beside me in the vehicle yet I couldn't really make them out...
Before I went to sleep (that produced this dream) I was doubting my glimpses and thinking that God may be "purer" and that my desires are just tolerated ones. Perhaps the before stated possibilities of why God would choose Johnny Depp to represent Him and the fact that in the dream I saw him and was trying to say that I saw him earlier as well... is God trying to tell me that I say Him...
The one who resembled Johnny doesn't necessarily have to be lucifer. I think he may be a representation of the ideal God borne out of the interpretations of the three main religions... which may be the work of lucifer...
To love ALL is to love God because to love God is to love ALL. I think the one desire of God that must be fulfilled by us for our loving relationship with Him to work is that we love ALL as we love Him. And so: to love Him is to love ALL and to love ALL is to love Him. :) (A little confusing still, huh?)
Not knowing for sure if God really exists and of which ways he prefers should ensure that one who chooses His way does so because one understands and truly wants it.
Let your way be as simple as this: Treat others how you are willing to tolerate them treating you in response. But understand that just because you are willing to tolerate one trying... to rape you so that you can rape does not mean that God will tolerate that behaviour.
