Enabling one to go through the same experience as God may enable one to become equal to God but not necessarily like God, with ways that God accepts and I think God does not desire this because even though God may not be injured by one with opposite ways one with opposite ways may create beings which it can injure, and this, God doesn't desire...
"You will be different. Sometimes you will feel like an outcast but you will never be alone. You will make my strength your own. You will see my life through your eyes as your life will be seen through mine. The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son." (From "Superman Returns", and probably from somewhere else, and thought provoking...)
Our existence, where God is mysterious and seemingly not very clear, is so that we can come to understand God and His ways and choose to adopt them, for the purpose of becoming equal partners with Him.
If the above and before is true it could be a reason why God doesn't violate our free will... because no one could violate His during His becoming...
"You cannot truly understand one until you walk a mile in their shoes." could be really true...
"You will see my life through your eyes..." -_^... Through my own experience I can, perhaps, come to understand God, to see God...
"Love God above all others." Perhaps: regard God as the primary partner and fulfill His all and sometimes desires first... so that another doesn't purposely or accidentally lead you astray...
God says truths, even if they hurt but that doesn't mean they're meant to hurt.
"Love God and eachother." Perhaps: you need not worry about the rest because if you are doing this (correctly) you are already doing the rest... Though with a greater understanding.
"God can be all things to all people." I think has been said. In relationships do not some partners, at some times, role play...? :D If I desired to be with God, and God was in the mood, perhaps He would fulfill my desire...
To believe strong enough is to perhaps create waveforms that pass a certain threshold where they change from simple recordings to complex creations...
Truth is not relative: God does not choose what is true and what is not true.
Morality is relative: God does choose what is right and what is not right.
God is not just giving us a chance to chosse between his way or the highway, He is giving us a chance to understand His way, to understand why He chose His way.
If you cannot change your pleasures to God's accepted pleasures or learn to bind your unacceptable pleasures, you are doomed. Just as: if you cannot change your pleasures to society's accepted pleasures or learn to bind your unacceptable pleasures you are doomed to be a criminal.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. It is the recording of EVERYTHING that happens. If something happens then it is true that it happens...
God asks no more of us than He asks of Himself. He treats others how he would have them treat Him.
God is not violating one's free will by not allowing one to see Him by Him being mysterious. This is how God may prevent one from evolving if they do not adopt His ways.
Every body needs some body but some bodies need EVERY body. :D lol. (Sounds familiar so forgive me if it's some body else's.)
If God just came out and told us everything (all His desires) and we had no experience we would not understand and we would most likely be very relunctant to accept Him or His ways. We'd only accept out of fear (even if He tried desperately not to make us fear) or for the reward, but why would God give the reward to those who don't understand...?
