Our State Farm agent found us a reasonable plan through Assurant (?), and I've been trying to get the preferred rate of $138 and change a month. I went through the Personal Health History Interview, and I thought it went fine and I'd be all set.
I got a call today from State Farm. I am about 20 pounds too heavy for my height to qualify for the preferred rate. I get to pay $160 a month or something for health insurance (plus the extra $20 fee for the first month)...and I wasn't sure how we'd pay for the other rate?
And also, I'm officially a fat-ass. Rats! :P
