Developing for Android sucks with all the fragmentation (different/custom hardware configurations, custom IU's, etc). Meanwhile, the iOS SDK is beautiful and there's a handful of devices to code for.
What that means in simple terms is--better and more abundant apps on the App Store.
Those problems you linked to in your post, haven't had a single one.
