over ten years. Under this agreement, hospitals will charge less for Medicare and Medicaid, saving the federal government an estimated $155 billion. The agreement is contingent on a comprehensive healthcare reform, the likes of which Democrats hope to achieve. Hospitals expect healthcare reform to reduce the number of uninsured patients they must deal with.
