My roommate bought a Westinghouse HDTV from Best Buy, it flickered badly because a capacitor wasn't soldered right, and the repair tech couldn't reflow it. The replacement had it's logic board fry in about 2 months, and the second replacement (3rd TV), has a cracked speaker cone so it makes a phlpppppt sound but she's going to keep it because she has a surround sound system and it's a pain in the ass to deal with replacement and repairs. However, I have faith it'll fail catastrophically again.
