So it basically started with this question on another forum website(link posted below):
"Why is it. That white folks who don't like Hip-Hop REALLY REALLY go out of their way to point out how much they absolutely hate hip-hop. They go on about how it's not music. How it has a negative impact on society, blah blah blah.
I've never listened to another genre of music and felt compelled to post about how much I hate it and how it sucks, and then discriminate against every future song because it just happened to be of another genre. Then come up with a million personal attacks on the artist, etc."
And I feel the same way...especially when I am constantly asked by my so-called friends why I listen to that "crap" so much. I'm sure this great divide isn't as prevalent in places outside of the US, but I was wondering what other people thought.
