I'd been on the last notch on my belt for a couple of years (the belt's actually pretty old, I should probably replace it...). In October or November, after I'd lost my first 20 pounds thanks to a nasty stomach bug (and then kept it off thanks to self-discipline and eating less), I went down a belt notch.
On Thursday I took it down another notch. Wasn't going to celebrate just yet, though, because it's often happened that I've taken my belt in a notch only to soon discover that that's too tight and have to take it back out -- but this time it seems to be sticking! Woo-hoo!!
