whose residents are disabled in various ways. So, not much of anything to fear really. But I am always mindful of whether I hear things in the stairwells, and always aware of the quickest door to escape back out onto a real floor.
Honestly though, I have nothing to be afraid of, and I refuse to live in perpetual fear.
My coworkers still marvel that I sit out on 7th street in my car reading a book between clients. 2 blocks away from where some girl was shot recently. *shrug* I feel safe around here. I'm not looking for trouble, but I refuse to live in the mindset of "potential victim" all the time.
