For my job, I'm constantly in high rises visiting clients. I've decided to stop using the elevators, unless I'm carrying something heavy or unwieldy.
By the end of tonight, I'll have gone up and down 48 flights of stairs (accounting for the fact that we Americans count ground floor as 1, and thus going to level 4 is actually only 3 flights). :D This is a bit higher than average, mostly because a client on level 9 of a high rise called me right as I got outside to ask me to come back and load some minutes onto his prepaid cell phone--but still, around 40 flights of stairs on an average shift. Not bad at all. :D
I also had a super healthy lunch/dinner before going to work--Ed and I made an awesome potato asparagus soup and some vegan Reuben sandwiches. SO tasty (though, his son didn't agree--he only ate the bread off the sandwich and then cried when Ed said he could only have more bread if he ate some soup and some of the rest of his sandwich).
