Posted by julenka at 1:33am Oct 1 '06I always go with the expectation that I'll be paying for myself. Sometimes I let others pick up the bill, and other times I do it, but I don't think anyone should go out with the expectation that they'll get a free lunch.
Sometimes it's just awkward to be at a restaurant and have to pool money together to pay the joint bill, so I'll just say, 'you get it next time'. But.. even when that 'next time' comes along, I still expect to have to pay my share. If my friend remembers, and pays the whole thing, that's good. If not, too bad. :)

When I go out, with anyone, not just dates, - julenka
