Posted by Bob Janova at 1:49pm Oct 2 '10As Alguna says, it means that prostitutes can report crimes against them, and the fact that they currently can't is one big reason why they can get 'trapped' in an abusive relationship with their pimp, and why trafficking is successful. When they're illegal immigrants as well that's always going to be a problem, but you can make the problem less bad for people who are allowed to be in the country in the first place if the activity they're doing for money is not illegal.
