So, found out that if I get 32GB of RAM, Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate 64bit, Virtual Memory automatically is disabled.
I've currently got 16GB of RAM in my laptop, and no matter what I do, I never seem to go past 60% or so, even running a bunch of RAM hogging software. The only time I've seen people using up all 32GB of RAM (plus 15MB/8GB of disk swap!) was on Linux with kvis, looking at HUGE datafiles.
However, I'm wondering what it's like to have 32GB of RAM, especially with prices like this for pretty damn fast laptop RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model CMSX8GX3M1A1600C10
The price of RAM seems to be dropping almost daily!
