Get Norton off of there. Replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials - it's free, and it's solid.

Run Windows Update - when asked for "Quick" (or is it "Easy"?) versus "Custom", choose "Custom", then look for any driver updates and install them. Reboot and see if the issues persist.
