God has preferred pleasure but loves us enough not to demand that we share exactly His pleasures, just as we come to realize that others have different pleasures than us and we learn not to demand that they share ours. Though we do draw a line by discovering a general way which we do demand...

I think that when it is said that one can only enter heaven if they accept Jesus it's because this is the simplest way, because that's how much God cares. He would ask just this little thing. But I don't think it's the only way: ["A guaranteed way to enter heaven is to love God and love each other."]... It seems logical to me that one who's pleasures become more and more like God's would please God even if this one is unaware of Jesus or God...

I don't know if it's the litte fella talkin' or not but I see a whole lot of good stuff. God, to me, don't seem to mind the hanky panky. :D Pleasure, man... pleasure. But YES: certain pleasures on the higher end of God's pleasure scale are desired but others can be tolerated, while others still cannot be tolerated.

Do what pleases God and God will be pleased with you. If God wants you to do what pleases Him with the right intent and with joy He may only be tolerating it when you do it without the right intent and joy.

To be in a loving relationship with God is to sometimes compromise your pleasure to give Him pleasure. I think one of His greatest compromises is when He allows us to take a partner because I think He desires to have us all to Himself...

God can get upset if you don't pay enough attention to Him, just like a human partner can. This upset of God's is not an upset that should cause you to fear for your eternal soul, not even close, but it is an upset that should cause you pain, just as you are sad if you make your human partner sad.

To love is to want to give pleasure to another and so, to love requires, at times, to give up a greater pleasure for the pleasure of giving another their greater pleasure. So people who love eachother... compromise, and do not always demand that their pleasures are satisfied. This, I think, is love.

The Holy Spirit knows the mind of God and so should know what He desires and since the Holy Spirit is with you and can inform you, if you listen it will tell you what God desires and if you love Him you will at times sacrifice your greater pleasure for the pleasure of giving Him His greater pleasure, just as He does for you, just as you do for a partner.

In a relationship, I think that somethings are always required: like, not to tell your partners secrets to anyone. It is the same in our relationship with God and I think one of the things He requires is that we love ALL, essentially: treat everyone like a partner (though probably without the sex, though maybe with the sex. :D).

God desires relationships with equal partners. Since He desires relationships suggests to me that that is why we can have relationships with others, this is so that God is not being a hypocrite (which is not a universal desire but one which I think He desires)... but still, it is a desire of His, I think, to have us all to Himself and He is sacrificing this desire when He allows us to take a partner. This is all suggesting to me that consentual "adultery" is permissible (which I think is something in Hinduism). But a thing from Christ is that a marriage vow is forever and I think this is because we essentially get married to God and through Him and I, for example, compromising for each other's pleasure our vow is never broken... God allows us to "cheat" on Him because He essentially "cheats" on us by desiring and having relationships with others...
["God does not ask more of us than He does of Himself."] I think is something that's said.

I'm not sure if God is into having sex with us, as we know sex, but, maybe... Maybe a sex beyond imagining... At the very least I do not see Him being disgusted or upset at all at the sight of individuals engaged in loving sexual encounters...

"Love God and love eachother." This is THE THING.

The Holy Spirit can inform you if you are being truly loving or not. Listen. Since this is THE THING.
