But violent crimes have been rare among carrying a concealed weapon license holders. Only 2% of license holders have been sanctioned for any kind of misbehavior, State Police records show.

Oh, and here's Florida, codifying the "castle doctrine" and removing the "duty to retreat" more than 6 years ago. Notice the predictions of "wild, wild west out there" and "a new wave of gun violence on Florida streets". Didn't happen there, either.
