Not only is it unconstitutional but it would also be a dreadful waste of time and expense. There are countless sex offenders, especially in urban areas, that aren't even labeled as 'pedophile'. Even if there is a quick way to filter the differences, it would be a powerful waste of time and money compared to the amount of pedophiles and the actuality of finding the right one. It would be ineffective, I don't doubt.
