I do believe that what a loving, committed gay couple has is the same as what a loving, committed straight couple has (and I challenge anybody who has read one of Jax's posts about her girlfriend to say otherwise). So a gay marriage is, in my view, just as much a true marriage as a straight marriage.
Then again, I'm not Christian... I have my own religious beliefs... so I don't have a book telling me homosexuality is wrong. (Which is really why I'm not Christian anymore... not because of the homosexuality thing, but because a lot of the things in the Bible as well as the teachings of the church on Jesus' sacrifice just don't ring true to me.)
