..as well as sprawl around cities, it's becoming less possible to build nuclear plants in unpopulated areas. I was touring new housing developments south of Charlotte in what used to be largely farmland. A huge nuclear facility looms in the background, puffing white clouds of steam across the horizon that are impossible to ignore. I thought to myself, "Geez, I don't really want to live near that." So how could I say, "Build more nuclear plants! Oh yeah, just not near anywhere I'm going to live. Put them in someone else's town."
