It's not that I can't see a real person behaving like Walt. It's just that as an observer, his constant rationalizing is so transparent. One obvious example is how he concluded "I blame the government" for the plane crash. You're lying to yourself, dude...how do you not see that? Most people have innate senses of right, wrong, guilt, etc. that Walt lacks, so he's clearly a sociopath.
One element I haven't liked about Season 3 was the unrealistic portrayal of the two young cartel brothers as non-speaking killing machines. They really strained the suspension of disbelief. And what was with the crawling on the ground when they were first introduced?
