the rayovac rechargeables. the gray ones that they said were like rechargeable alkalines. they worked and lasted great. the charger got leaked on and messed up a long time ago, though. i think they dont make em anymore, though.
i now have duracell. for a while, i wasnt using rechargeables as i didnt need em all that much, but then when i got an mp3 player that ran off AAA i got new ones. i tried the energizer lithium, which claim to give 11 times the life, but i only got about twice the life in the mp3 player so it wasnt worth it, otherwise i might have gone with those. ive read mixed things about em, but they seem to work well for me, plus i got the 15 minute charger which is much more convenient. theyre rated the highest mAh of the major brands. only downside to rechargeables is when i forgot to take the charger with me when i went somewhere.
what i'd love to see is extended life rechargeable Li-Ion AA and AAA equivalents. i wonder why noone makes them? maybe i should go teach myself battery technology and start producing them...
