Posted by Guamo at 6:58pm Sep 24 '09Don't know if anyone saw this today, but its pretty cool. Remember that we're (meaning we in the AIDS vaccine community) are still a ways from a "good" vaccine. But I know that my lab was already aware of many of the points that were emphasized by this trial, such as lack of an effective antibody response to HIV. I think the next few years will see many advances in AIDS research and AIDS vaccine development.
