It's a cricket, but it doesn't have specialized jumping legs. Instead, the front legs are smaller than normal, and have these crazy-hard chitin "teeth" on them for burrowing. And the little bugger's STRONG, too! I had her in my hands (we assume she's a girl--had ovipods O_o) and she was shoving my fingers apart with no trouble. I have scratches!
But yeah, nifty little buggy. Looks sort of like an earwig-cricket hybrid. It's got pseudo-wings and all sorts of nifty adaptations =D CUTE!!!
