The latest is so absurd it's hard to believe it's real: Perhaps the most anti-gun state in the Union is poised to pass a bill granting assumed concealed-carry permits to every state- and federal-level politician in the state! Meanwhile, regular Californians remain at the whim and fancy of their local sheriff, meaning the overwhelming majority simply cannot obtain permission to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.
