^Nothing too interesting here, other than to note that the favorability number has steadily fallen since Obama took office (something that happens with all presidents).
But the DK/R2000 poll is quite interesting because it breaks down the data. Have a look:
Obama's Favorable/Unfavorable by region:
Northeast: 82/7 (wow)
Midwest: 62/30
West: 59/32
South: 27/68
Look at that last one again. In fact, the poll also breaks the data down like this:
South: 27/68
Rest of country: 67/24
That is, Obama's favorability rating excluding the South is 67%. It's when you include the South that you find Obama's favorability at 55%.
Read any conclusions you want into the data.
