Actually, let me spin that around: MoveOn.org, you lie! One Congressman shouted two words. That was the "heckling, booing, and hissing" that you attribute to "Republicans" - one man, and unless he's schizophrenic that doesn't qualify for a plural. (Actually, even if he is, your insinuation that the entire Republican party responded as such is bogus, and you yourselves are guilty of the exact same bullshit you pin upon the GOP.)
Wherever you are on the political spectrum, whackjob extremists do nothing to aid our political progress - quite the contrary, they hinder it by miring us in bullshit and lies and distracting us from the actual issues at hand.
Last night, President Obama challenged Congress to "meet history's test" and finally fix our broken health care system. He pledged to seek common ground between Democrats and Republicans, and assured them all: "My door is always open."
Republicans responded by heckling, booing, and hissing. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) screamed out "You lie!" as the President defended his health care plan against false right-wing attacks.
