If this is our standard for "controversy" then literally everything is controversial. The far right-wing is playing the media beautifully.
It's the same story with the "town hall" events. Only those in which people were screaming like fools were covered by the media, which portrayed them as the norm across the country and elevated the voice of a minority to seem as if it represented the majority. There should be a way to sue for media malpractice.
