Posted by Sir Four at 3:28pm Jul 16 '09I thought this was funny. The other senator from Arizona, John Kyl, put out a statement saying Obama should cancel the stimulus plan. In response, several Obama cabinet members contacted Arizona governor Jan Brewer, asking if she shares Kyl's view and wants to give up her state's share of the stimulus money (she said no). But then McCain, in response to all this, made this ridiculous statement:
"I strongly support the comments of Senator Kyl and call on the administration to retract its threat against the citizens of Arizona."Think about that for a minute.
