Posted by shyla at 11:12am Apr 26 '08In one breath he's saying the rebate is to help us cope with the rising gas and food prices and in the next breath he's talking about how it's also to help boost our economy and pull us out of this "economic slowdown", which is in and of itself a highly diplomatic way of putting it. I seriously wonder how he proposes a correlation between an economy boost and giving EXXON more money. And also explain how this rebate is going to help in a month, once the money is gone, and gas and food prices are still high.
