This is a song I wrote on Thursday, when I had That Feeling. On Saturday, after That Feeling had passed, I recorded me singing it. Those who would like the MP3 may email me at savegraduation@yahoo.com.
There's Somebody Else in the Room
By James Landau (c) 2018
I feel as if there's somebody else in the room
I'm not seeing dark [private]s, but I feel the face of Doom
Five minutes ago I was fine, now he has me consumed
Creating, writing art is a darksidey kind of craft
And this makes it so creepy that it might as well be Lovecraft
I can hear the cackles now
Is the other person in here a dentist or a lawyer
Or a Secret Service agent? I must end this paranoia
But I don't know how
I look at the guy
In the mirror's bloodshot eyes
And wonder who is staring at whom
Dipsers dropping from my hair
Like raindrops falling through the air
Imagined strabismic stare
What's happening to me?
I look at my fingers, and see my nails rife
With gunk, is that dirt, or is that arachnid life?
Think they're even on the ceiling, and they're causing me strife
Feels like astrally projecting, and now every time I blink my
Eyes both hurt and it feels like I'll stab my eyes out and I think my
Eyes are gonda cross
He's with me when I'm resting, and he's with me in the shower
The umbilical cord breaks, and I feel 5-like, without power
All my rage is lost
I can't tell my words from his
And I wonder if this is
What it feels like to be under the knife
Dipsers dropping from my hair
Like raindrops falling through the air
Imagined strabismic stare
What's happening to me?
I can only do one thing at once
Is this a high like smoking blunts
Or is it hypnosis?
Floaters blur the screen in front of me
Is this a symptom of OCD
Or is it psychosis?
Everything I've ever done
Is being judged before Lucifer and the Son
Dipsers dropping from my hair
Like raindrops falling through the air
Imagined strabismic stare
What's happening to me?
Dipsers dropping from my hair
Like raindrops falling through the air
Imagined strabismic stare
What's happening to me?
