The other day I got a program called Audacity on my computer. Audacity records your voice, records, tapes, CD's, anything you squirt into the microphone attached to your computer. It can also convert into .WAV's and MP3's.
I used it to record "Vague Resonations", a song my band Red Cilantro recorded in 1999. At first I put the microphone too close to my boom box's speakers, and you could hear the static, but the second time I put it farther away and it recorded perfectly. "Vagoe Resonations" is the opening song for my rock musical, Angst: A Camera Into the Life of the Bittersweet Generation.
I just need someone to host it online for me, someone who can host sound files on his or her webpage. Who will that person be?
Also, I'd like to ask around on this forum: Would you prefer a .WAV file or an MP3?
