It was alright. Not *nearly* as good as Repo: A Genetic Opera (I think something about tackling the subject from a musical perspective really worked, whereas tackling it as an action flick made it feel almost exactly like Minority Report and any other number of blockbuster action movies)
It seemed like they too often tried to be graphic just to be graphic (I'm thinking most notably about the intense scene towards the end with the handheld scanner--you know which one I mean!). Which was disappointing, to me.
I did think the major twist at the end was pretty surprising. That caught me waaaay the fuck off guard. And I thought it was reasonably well executed--it didn't feel like an afterthought "ohshit, things are too straightforward!" twist. I liked that.
Overall? Meh. I'm glad I saw it, but I won't go out of my way to see it again.
