Woo hoo!!!!
Haven't even installed it yet, as, y'know, I have to work. But just minutes ago I got the e-mail inviting me to join the beta. How cool is that??
I've already heard awesome things about L4D2 having much improved performance on Linux compared to Windows, and since my Windows gaming rig has been down for quite a while now (trying to move it into my much-beefier Linux rig for dual-boot) I'm definitely suffering zed-slaying withdrawals...
I really can't wait until I've got it up and running -- so excited!! :-D
Just as well, I shouldn't be playing games anyway, I've got work to do...

Okay, so I installed it, and, drat, the only games I have that are available on Linux are FTL (damn fine game, don't get me wrong) and TF2. No Linux-powered zed-slaying for me it seems, at least not yet. :-(added on 3:18pm Dec 6 '12:
Dagnabbit! Looks like the developer actually screwed up, FTL is listed as being playable on Linux but there are no Linux binaries! "Downloading" takes 0 seconds, and then there's nothing downloaded and you can't play!Just as well, I shouldn't be playing games anyway, I've got work to do...
