When I got my pills this morning, I heard the television and walked out of my room to make sure it wasn't the news. What I saw was the news, but I saw the headline BREAKING NEWS: PROPOSITION 8. It showed Gavin Newsom, among others, gathered round City Hall in San Francisco. They were all there clapping their hands and cheering.
I knew today was the day of the Supreme Court decision on Proposition 8 and DOMA. So when I saw San Franciscans cheering, I was happy.
