i don't see the hypocrisy. are those in favor of banning high-capacity magazines also really upset that magpul is thinking of leaving? are they really trying to convince the company to stay?
i don't think you can really call a government hypocritical for taxing a legitimate corporation, nor do i find anything wrong with saying "we're going to stand up for what we believe in, even if it means less money". isn't that kind of the opposite of hypocritical?
and what's so wrong about trying to hold on to $68 million you think you should get?
it's like calling someone out on being mad they were overcharged $10 because the same person just spent $50 on something else. you're saying every time government lost a source of funding they'd be hypocrites for trying to keep a smaller source of funding continuing.
but, y'know, i'm sad for the corporations that make such awesome stuff such as "lightweight polymer magazines designed for the AR-15, available in standard 30-round capacity, or limited-capacity 20- and 10-round versions."
so what? it wouldn't be the first time a company moved out of spite. that's what it would be - "ooh, we're not allowed to sell one of our most profitable products here! let's fire everyone and move somewhere else!" that's mature.
