Chrysler, long considered the weakest of the US automakers, is reporting that April was their best month in sales in four years, and the first quarter has been the most profitable since 1998. Year-over-year sales are up 20%, and production will not take a usual two-week summer hiatus due to high demand.
Ford and GM have also been doing well, as far as I'm aware. It's nice to see the decision to save US automakers validated by such positive results.
