I don't understand how these wealthy people were spending money as fast as they were making it, and I certainly don't sympathize that because their bonuses are lower, they can't maintain their lifestyle. How foolish. All they had to do was save all that money instead of pissing it away...they'd have been set for life.
So these guys were reckless in their jobs, and it looks like many were reckless in their personal finances, too. Doesn't speak well to their competence.
