Jobs v Ritchie

Dennis Ritchie died within a week of Jobs. Ritchie was far more influential on the computing world, with his influence reaching far and wide to touch on literally every single thing we today recognize as being a "computer".

Ritchie was truly an innovator; Jobs was merely a damned good marketer. So I guess it's fitting -- if not in the least bit fair or accurate -- that Jobs got so much press when he died, and Ritchie's death went almost completely unnoticed.
