Posted by Sir Four at 8:54pm May 7 '10The private sector added 231,000 jobs in April. Feb and March job numbers were revised upward as well, to 39,000 and 230,000 respectively. That's not what it needs to be, but half a million net new jobs is definitely a positive sign.
On the down side, unemployment rose from 9.7% to 9.9% due to more people searching for jobs.
If the trend in this graph continues, the year ahead will be looking pretty good. We can only hope.
